Oregon Wedding Photographer

Romantic, Editorial Wedding Photography Rooted in Connection

Your wedding day is about more than beautiful details and carefully chosen surroundings. It’s about the people you love, the story you’re creating together, and the feeling of being surrounded by the people who matter most.

As a Portland-based Oregon wedding photographer, I’m drawn to the connection behind every celebration. I want to know what makes your relationship yours — the people who have shaped your story, the moments you’re most looking forward to, and the memories you want to hold onto long after the day is over.

My approach is romantic, editorial, and emotionally driven, with a focus on creating beauty that feels authentic to you.

The goal is never to make your wedding look like someone else’s.

It’s to preserve yours beautifully.

Film + Digital Wedding Photography

I photograph weddings using both film and digital photography, creating galleries that feel timeless, layered, and full of feeling.

I love film because it captures more than just what a moment looks like. It adds depth and emotion — a softness to the light, subtle movement, and an atmosphere that can make a photograph feel like a memory.

For me, film isn't simply an aesthetic choice. It is another way of preserving the feeling of your wedding day.

Digital photography allows me to document your celebration fully and respond to every unexpected moment. Film brings another layer of intention and artistry.

Together, they create a gallery that feels complete while still leaving room for the photographs to breathe.

Connection First, Always

Every wedding is different because every couple is different.

I believe the most meaningful photographs come from creating an environment where you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident enough to simply be yourselves.

My job isn't to keep you posing for the camera all day.

It's to help you feel present.

I'll guide you when you need direction, especially during portraits, while also giving you plenty of space to connect with each other naturally.

A hand finding yours.

A quiet laugh between portraits.

The way you look at each other when you think no one is watching.

Your closest friends surrounding you on the dance floor.

Your parents seeing you as a newly married couple for the first time.

These are the moments that give your gallery its heart.

Romantic & Editorial, Without Losing What Feels Real

I love photographs that feel elevated and intentional — beautiful light, thoughtful composition, movement, and images that could belong in an editorial.

But beauty means very little if it doesn't feel like you.

My approach is rooted in finding the intersection between editorial beauty and authentic connection.

There will be portraits that feel polished and timeless, as well as photographs that are completely unplanned.

You don't need to know how to pose.

You don't need to be comfortable in front of a camera.

You simply need to be yourselves.

I'll take care of the rest.

My hope is that you feel so comfortable with me that, eventually, you forget I'm photographing you.

That's when the magic happens.

Oregon Wedding Photography

Oregon is an incredible place to celebrate a wedding. From the architecture and gardens of Portland to the mountains of Central Oregon, the vineyards of the Willamette Valley, and the dramatic landscapes of the Columbia River Gorge, the state offers an incredible range of settings for a meaningful celebration.

As an Oregon wedding photographer, I photograph celebrations throughout the state, including Portland, Hood River, Bend, the Willamette Valley, and beyond.

I've photographed weddings at places including Black Butte Ranch, The Griffin House in Hood River, Del Mar Villa in Dundee, Washington Park, the Portland Art Museum, and other Oregon venues.

But while the landscapes provide a beautiful backdrop, it's always the people who make the photographs meaningful.

Photographs That Feel Like Your Memories

Your wedding photographs will become part of your family history.

They'll live in your albums, on the walls of your home, and in the stories you tell years from now.

I want those photographs to do more than remind you what your wedding looked like.

I want them to bring you back to how it felt.

The warmth of the afternoon.

The anticipation before the ceremony.

The sound of your closest friends laughing.

The way your partner held your hand.

The feeling of seeing everyone you love gathered in one place.

The quiet moment when you realized, we're married.

These are the things worth preserving.

And these are the moments I want to photograph for you.
